Marjorie Nicholl passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 22, 1944 in Minnedosa, MB. She lived a full life marked by kindness, resilience and devotion to those she loved.
She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret (Struthers) and Albert Nicholl, her sister Donna Darlene (Nicholl) Ironside and her son-in-law Daniel B Brazinha.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberley Brazinha, her grandchildren, Tatiana and Diego Brazinha, Kaitlyn Labrecque and great-granddaughter, Arianna Brazinha of Penticton BC as well her nieces/nephews Donna (Evans) and Wallace Anderson of Rapid City MB, and Debbie (Evans) and Mike Barwick of Stauffer, AB and many other relatives and friends.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend as she touched countless lives with her gentle spirit. As a single mother, she showed amazing independence, strength and resourcefulness.
Over the years she worked and lived in Brandon, Winnipeg MB, Red Deer AB before moving to Penticton BC to retire (2012). She was an Accountant and Office Administrator for AB Municipal Affairs, Wild Rose Assessments and other private companies in MB and AB. Throughout her life she enjoyed bowling, curling, computer games, traveling and dining out!
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to her care givers and to all the friends and family who shared support and prayers during her brief encounter with cancer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
She will be dearly missed and forever remembered for the love she shared and the grace with which she lived.
